Waitlist emails

If you join the Finn waitlist, we store the email address you submit so we can contact you about the iPhone launch. Waitlist data is stored using Supabase. We do not sell waitlist email addresses.

Screen Time and app selections

Finn uses Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks. You choose distracting apps, categories, or websites through Apple's Family Activity Picker.

Apple provides Finn with opaque selection tokens rather than a normal list of your selected apps. Finn stores the selection needed for blocking in its local App Group storage so its Screen Time extensions can apply your choices.

Focus progress

Your Focus Goal, focus progress, Free Time balance, and related timer state are stored locally on your device so Finn can restore your day after the app is closed or restarted.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Finn uses RevenueCat to determine whether your subscription entitlement is active and to support purchase restoration.

Finn does not receive your full payment card information. Apple handles App Store billing.

This website

The Finn website is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and page usage.
